This marks the first Startup Camp Telephony, an event dedicated to everything Startup in emerging communications. It is the forum where early stage companies, investors and on-lookers alike can share information and validate pitches in real time. Join us as we learn from each other about the ins and outs of pitching an emerging communications startup. Keynote speakers will offer unique insight into keys to successful commercialization in this fast changing environment. All are welcome. Space is limited, so you need to register soon.

StartupCamp Telephony is co-located at ITEXPO East 2010, the event where service providers learn how to profitably roll out services their subscribers are clamoring for, and where buyers, sellers, resellers, and manufacturers meet to forge relationships and close deals.

James Siminoff is a serial entrepreneur that has always fostered an entrepreneurial spirit.

In 2007 James received the Entrepreneur Award from Crain's Business New York in recognition for his accomplishments with PhoneTag.

In September of 2009 PhoneTag completed a transaction worth $17 million with Ditech Networks (nasdaq: DITC).  James currently holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer and is head of Ditech's Labs program. more...

Panelists

Michael Mildenberger, Managing Director of Corporate Finance Partners
Americas, was formerly Co-Founder and CEO of Wireless Fire LTD, a US mobile
entertainment company. From 1996 to 2000 Michael was Co-Founder and CEO of
aeonware AG, an ecommerce software company. Prior to this, he worked for
DaimlerChrysler IT Services. Michael holds a degree in Political Economics
with special field in Latin America from the Eberhard Karls University in
Tuebingen/ Germany. Michael manages the US offices of Corporate Finance
Partners and has completed approximate USD 1 billion in transactions since
the office's inception.

Randy Busch

Strategic Marketing Advisor, Brightspark Ventures

Randy an entrepreneur and technology startup veteran. Randy is CEO and
co-founder of Jazinga Inc., a small business telephony solutions startup. He
also works at Brightspark Ventures as the Strategic Marketing Advisor to
their portfolio companies. Randy has more than 20 years of experience in
executive management, product management and marketing with young technology
companies. Randy specializes in developing early stage product and marketing
strategies and has helped many startups bring their first products to
market, positioning them for growth.

next generation communications equipment. In March of 2007, Thomas won
the first O’Reilly Emerging Telephony Mashup Contest with his “After
Hours Doctor’s Office”. In January, 2008, Thomas was listed among the
most influential voices in VoIP. In March of 2008, Thomas won the VON
Magazine Innovator’s Award. In September of 2008, Thomas won the
first Broadsoft Mashup Contest with his “Diaster Dispatcher”.

A veteran of the media, marketing and public relations industries, Andy has
35 years of experience in all facets of marketing and corporate
